Purpose of the MDA Leadline Program
The mission of the MDA is to support and grow the sport of dressage in all its forms. We believe our youth riders are the most important indicator of the sport’s future success.
Beginning with the 2025/2026 season, we are pleased to offer a Leadline Dressage Seat Equitation Year-End Award, open to riders of all ages.

Eligibility & Rules
- All participants must be MDA members in good standing.
- Membership dues must be received before the date of a show in order for scores from that show to count toward the awards program.
- Social memberships must be upgraded to full membership by September 30th to be eligible for year-end awards.
- Scores must be earned at "Participating" MDA Dressage Schooling Shows.
- Riders may compete with multiple horses, but scores must come from a single rider.
- A minimum of three (3) Leadline Dressage Seat Equitation scores must be submitted. There are no restrictions on show dates or judges.
- Volunteer hours are not required for Leadline riders.
- Leadline riders are not eligible to submit scores in any other MDA divisions for the remainder of the season.
