Membership year is December 1st to November 30th. In order to qualify for year-end awards you must be a member PRIOR to participating in a show.
MIDWEST DRESSAGE ASSOCIATION
a Charter Group Member Organization of the United States Dressage Federation (USDF)
MDA was founded in 1969 for the purpose of promoting and encouraging a high
standard of accomplishment in dressage primarily through educational programs.
MDA offers its members the
following specific advantages;
Clinics & symposiums with nationally and locally recognized trainers,
clinicians, and riders which are open to anyone but at a substantially reduced
rate to MDA members, Year-end awards program which recognizes the achievements of MDA riders at schooling and recognized shows with adult amateur, Jr/Yg rider,
and Open divisions, Four high quality dressage schooling shows at Win A Gin Farm
in Oxford, MI in July and September, Monthly MDA News & Views newsletter, Free
General Membership (GM) to USDF which includes (1)their Connection magazine,
(2)allows riders to compete at recognized dressage shows without paying a USDF
non-member fee, (3) access to member only sections of USDF website, Voting
privileges to MDA, MDA website with calendar of events and classified ads,
Extensive library of videos available for rent at a nominal charge, Handsome MDA
lapel pin with first year of membership, Ability to earn MDA Bucks by
volunteering time at our events. Bucks can then be used to pay for entry fees to
our schooling shows and to select MDA clinics, MDA membership fees, and to
purchase MDA logo products Annual MDA Directory listing all members, MDA Bylaws

Membership to MDA is on an annual basis with a December 1 to November 30
membership year. Only scores earned while you are a current member will count
towards year-end awards.
Cost of Membership:
$51 for single adult
$21 for additional family member
$41 for under 21 as of Dec. 1, 2011
